In 2018, OKME was hired to finalize the planning, iron out the logistics, and execute the wedding and reception of Anthony and Victoria Holton! We were overjoyed to be trusted with their big day. "Victoria is a beautiful person inside and out. Her spirit is so warm, loving and grounded. She's one of those women who I insistently saw being a genuine friend and not just another client". OKME couldn't wait to bring the couple's visions to life. Now a year later OKME wants to celebrate the couple's one year anniversary with a deep dive into their love story and look back on their first year of marriage.
The Beginning
In 2003, just kids in high school, Anthony and Victoria Holton met through a mutual friend and quickly grew a trusting friendship and bond. Like many teenagers they spent their days talking all day and finding any reason to spend time together. Dating through graduation Anthony and Victoria became inseparable high school sweethearts. Little did they know, the friendship they built would be the foundation to a beautiful relationship keeping them connected for many years.
As years past, Anthony and Victoria grew, experiencing many life lessons. Through it all their love for each other never allowed them to stray too far from one another. "We are best-friends. No matter what we would always be there for each other". Their flourishing love and bond was an inspiration to many surrounding friends and family.
In April 2017, Anthony asked Victoria for her hand in marriage in front of their most closest family and friends. He says, "I knew she was the woman I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. I had to ask her to be my wife".
