To Have and To Holton Continues

Updated: Jun 10, 2019

One year later Anthony and Victoria share their experiences of this last year and provide some advice to other newlyweds.

Marriage is a commitment and covenant. It is by definition the legally or formally recognized union of two people as partners in a personal relationship.

We asked The Holtons, what is the best thing about getting married?

"The best thing about getting married is, we get to do life together, crush our goals, learn each-other in a different light, evolve, grow spiritually, plan our future and legacy, come home to my best-friend everyday, explore and have fun sexually without conviction".

"The best thing about getting married is that you have a lifetime partner no matter what. Someone that always has your back through the ups and downs".

Some advice they would give to newlyweds:

"Make sure to always remember who you are and whose you are as an individual. It’s important because, you can easily get caught up in the day-to-day roles and trying to be someone you “think your spouse needs”, that you forget who you are. It is also very unloving and entitled to desire your spouse to be something they are not. As a spouse you can assist with this by constantly evolving, pushing your partner to be the best version of themselves and loving them unconditionally throughout the process.

"Some advice I would give to other newlyweds just starting their marriage is to stay true to what made you all happy and make sure you all have serious talks about money, kids, future endeavors, etc."

It has been a blessing, an honor and a joy to be a witness to the love of The Holtons. They are genuinely great people and have easily become OKME family. We know their love will continue to flourish and carry them through the commitment of a lasting marriage. We thank The Holtons for sharing their love and family with us. We wish The Holtons many more years of laughs, joys, growth, and unwavering love.
